PERFORMANCE BY RANKIN - Celebrate Theatre #Backonstage
This ambitious project by rankin is a celebration of the enormous talent & resilience of london’s theatreland as it emerges from a devastating pandemic shutdown.
Created in partnership with Official London Theatre and FUJIFILM House of Photography, with funding from the Mayor of London, as part of the Let’s Do London campaign. the exhibition will run until 31st january at the fujifilm house of photography, 8-9 long acre, covent garden.
“The fact that a portion of profits from this project will go towards the Theatre Artists Fund is hugely meaningful to an industry which has been devastated by the pandemic, with countless theatre workers - particularly the freelancers who make up nearly 70% of the workforce - still facing uncertainty and financial instability.”
– Emma De Souza, Society Of London Theatre
“This once-in-a-lifetime portrait of the West End showcases the incredible talent that comes together to make our theatres the envy of the world. Fundraising from this project will go to the Theatre Artists Fund and four charities doing extraordinary work to protect young homeless people from the cold and Covid, whilst helping them rebuild their lives off the street.”
– Sadiq Khan, Mayor Of London
